Blind Chaos – Friday
By author Stephanie Vlahos

As the chain of characters grows, it generates a unique plot of tangled friendships, a series of mysteries leading to a mass tragedy, and mind-bending events, seen and unseen.
It feels like The End even to Minority World people hellbent on having fun, and it all began with a book in an abandoned Cadillac in the New Mexico desert.

The Unseen – Sunday
By author Stephanie Vlahos
“Can I get in?”
“We’re only letting people out.”
“But, I represent Weirdo Cool.”
“You could represent God, and I wouldn’t let you in.”
Sunday. Showtime. In the wee hours of the morning, Vegas welcomes an annular solar eclipse with a bonus, a UFO. And as if that weren’t enough, there are wildfires encroaching on Vegas out of the Mojave Desert. Under the sooty and blood red sky, Imani encounters an Indigenous shaman who identifies something in her.
The unexpected encounter leads Imani to consider a mystery unfolding in her dreams. Rhea fears she’s haunting herself, and Bozzy receives dire news about a friend.
The Fans line up for Weirdo Cool’s highly-anticipated last show at the Pompeii. An event that will challenge the audience, if not the world, with the question: are we in control, or are we being controlled?
Altered Destinations – Monday
By author Stephanie Vlahos
“You regret it, don’t you? You regret helping me when you’ve seen what I am.”
“I see nothing. Only you see what you are. Tell me, do you know what I am?”
“I got my suspicions.”
“Then you are a great man, indeed.”
Monday is the last day of a very long weekend. Or the beginning of the week? Everyone is leaving town. Visionary Fiction at its best.
The police remain on the sniff for the missing perpetrator of the baffling Pompeii tragedy, eight strangers follow their random destinies. Imani goes on a road trip with Huda, chasing a past life memory driven by the Blue Star Katsina.
Johnny picks up a mysterious hitchhiker. This all feels like the last day on Earth.
However the journey always continues.

We’re all on a journey. We glimpse the road signs, meet our guides, other travelers, make choices along the way as we chart the paths we walk. You can take a detour: that could be for as long as a lifetime, or as short as a long weekend. The questions is: where is that detour headed?
Vegas…
…a retreat, an escape, a smoke and mirrors destination offering gambling and probability, entertainment and magic, people from everywhere armed with backstories and expectations, or places where a visitor can experience the other side of Sin City like the Valley of Fire, Dragon Ridge, the Mojave desert, the great Hoover Dam, and maybe, just maybe, slip in between the fabric of reality.
Will you join Imani Cosmos for a 4-day weekend? With her world in pieces Imani settles in Caesars Palace Las Vegas. She navigates the minefield of probability. Bumping into seven strangers headed toward a mind-boggling tragedy and mind-bending experiences.
Their guide? The mysterious book JOHN K, discovered in an abandoned Cadillac just up from Chaco Canyon, New Mexico.
